Apps Bangle (PTY) LTD (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Smart File Manager - Organize mobile application (the “App” or “Service”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing a secure file management experience.
1. Definitions
- Service: The Smart File Manager - Organize mobile application.
- Personal Data: Information that can identify an individual (e.g., Email, Device ID).
- Usage Data: Data collected automatically (e.g., app crash logs, time spent in app).
- Anonymous Identifier: A randomly-generated ID tied to your install, not to your name, email, or device contacts.
2. Information Collection and Local Processing
We do not require you to create a traditional account (e.g., with an email and password) to use the App. We collect and handle information as follows:
- Device Permissions: We require access to your device storage to organize files. Files are processed strictly locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
- Push Notifications: With your permission, we send notifications regarding file tasks. You can opt-out in your device settings.
- User Feedback: If you contact us, we collect your email and message content to provide support.
- Diagnostics & Stability: We collect anonymized crash logs to improve app performance and stability.
- Referral Program: If you use "Refer a Friend", the app creates an Anonymous Identifier (via Firebase Authentication) and stores it, together with your referral code, how many people redeemed it, and their subscription status, in our cloud database (Cloud Firestore) — solely to track referral progress and grant rewards. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or device contacts.
- Subscription Verification: When you buy or restore a subscription, we send the purchase token issued by Google Play (not your payment card details) to our server to confirm it with Google Play's systems.
- Cloud Storage Accounts (Google Drive): If you choose to connect a Google Drive account, sign-in is handled entirely by Google's own official sign-in software — we never see or store your password. Once connected, the App communicates directly with Google's servers to list, preview, organize, and delete files in that account as directed by you. We do not copy your cloud files to our own servers. You can disconnect at any time.
3. Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance
Limited Use Disclosure: Smart File Manager - Organize's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the
Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We offer a premium subscription that removes ads and unlocks premium features. Payments are handled securely by Google Play Billing, and we do not store credit card or payment credentials.
